He is the CEO of JOHNBOSCO ONUNKWO FOUNDATION which has gone to extent of empowering the less privileged, widows and youths of Anambra state through free health care delivery, scholarship scheme.

HIS CONTRIBUTION ON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.
1. Building of a 50 bed medical facility in Achalla village Umuchu in Aguata local government area of Anambra state.
2. Free medical and health services to over 30 communities in Anambra state during the foundation free medical health care tour.
3. Sponsoring of over 500 pupils back to school through the provision of school uniforms, school bags and payment of school fees for the pupils.
4. Donation of Evangelical buses to the Christian communities in Anambra state to facilitate Evangelicalism throughout the state.
5. Donation of over 500 fire extinguishers to major markets and free sensitization workshop to help prevent the manace of fire outbreaks on Anambra state.
6. Donation of 5000,000(five million naira ) to victims of Onitsha fire outbreaks to aid Anambrian whom the shops and source of livelihood was destroyed by the fire.
7. Built an ultra modern bus stand for students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.
8. Establishment of Johnbosco Onunkwo Agricultural Institute where party faithfuls, youths will be trained as farmers to key into Mr President Agricultural Initiative.
9. Johnbosco Onunkwo Football Academy where young talents are trained and harnessed in the area of sports and football.
10. Since the year 2017, Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo has been consistent in sharing Christmas gifts to the APC party faithfuls across the 21 local governments in the state.
11. In 2019, High chief Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo gave out over 500 bags of rice and financial grants to the party executives across the 326 wards in Anambra state.
Recounting his numerous achievement and contribution to the community development of Anambra state, Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo had used his personal income as a civil servant to donate 1 truckloadof fire extinguishers to Ochanja market, empowered many youths into businesses with a start-up capital, scholarship to many indigenous families in Anambra state, engaged in a multi-million naira projects by providing medical, laboratory and logistics facilities to Igboukwu Health Center. It
High chief Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo is a dedicated party man, who had been in the fore front in building APC in Anambra state. Starting from the days of AC to ACN and APC. Engr.Johnbosco Onunkwo has been financing the party activities using his salaries to pay for the party Secretariat/office from ward to local government level across the 21 local governments in the state.
