HON. PRINCE CHIJIOKE ANI (OJENANWAYO), HAILS THE JUDICIARY FOR GRANTING DCP ABBA KYARI BAIL.

Dear Esteemed Members of the Judiciary,

I write to you today with great admiration and appreciation for the commendable bail granted to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari yesterday. This decision has shown that the judiciary remains the only last hope of the common man.

For two long years, DCP Abba Kyari was wrongly accused and determined to languish in prison without any fair trial or hearing on Allegations that the law of the land clearly Stated its bailable. This was a grave injustice that was meted out to him, and it was heart-wrenching to see him suffer because of a Malicious Set up and Media Trial organized and Sponsored by envious colleagues and some big, Rich Criminal groups he fought DOGGEDLY and dealt with while serving Nigeria.

However, the decision of Justice Omotosho to grant him bail has brought relief and joy to the Majority of Nigerians who have been following this case with bated breath. His decision has shown that the judiciary remains a beacon of hope for every Nigerian who seeks justice and fairness.

We cannot overstate the importance of this decision in restoring the faith of Nigerians in the judiciary. It is a reminder that the judiciary is independent and committed to upholding the rule of law in Nigeria. Justice Omotosho's decision has given us hope that justice can indeed be served in Nigeria.

Therefore, I urge every member of the judiciary to continue to uphold the principles of fairness, equity, and justice in all their dealings. With Respect, we ask all our Judges(Justice Omotosho not inclusive) to grant bail to Persons that are alleged on matters the Law says are bailable to enable them to defend themselves properly more so the Law says all persons are presumed innocent until proven otherwise. Why then keep Somebody who is a National Hero with Unprecedented Records of Service to his Nation for 18 months without bail just to satisfy the interest of very few Powerful people? We must continue to work tirelessly to ensure that every Nigerian is accorded their fundamental rights and that justice is done in every case.

Once again, I commend Justice Omotosho for his tremendous decision, and I urge all members of the judiciary to continue to be the shining light of hope for every Nigerian seeking justice.

Thank you for your dedication and commitment to upholding the rule of law in Nigeria.
