Office of the Inspector General of Police
Louis Edet House, Area 11 Garki,
Abuja, FCT, Nigeria
Attention: IGP, Kayode Egbetokun
Dear Sir,
I am writing to appeal to your good office to review and stand tall for justice, equity, and tranquility to ensure that the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Mr. Abba Kyari, and his team are released from detention and reinstated back to duty to serve our fatherland, Nigeria.
I strongly believe that the untrue allegation against the respected super cop of Nigeria police and his team was orchestrated to tarnish his good work and service to the nation. Mr. Abba Kyari has always been a dedicated officer who has worked tirelessly to ensure that law and order are maintained in our country.
The Nigeria Police Force and fellow citizens must not forget in a hurry his proactiveness in combating crime and terrorism in our Nation. Mr. Abba Kyari has been in detention for two years and counting, While those criminals, the international drug lords he arrested and sent to the NDLEA, in the course of his duty have been freed from Suleja prison after 16 months. This situation is not only unfair but also sends a wrong message to the men and women in uniform that their efforts are not appreciated.
As a nation, we must protect the institution and College of Police for a better future. Releasing Mr. Abba Kyari and his team will send a strong message that we stand for justice, equity, and fairness.
I appeal to you, sir, to use your good office to intervene in this matter and ensure that justice is served. Let us protect the institution and College of Police for a better future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Hon. Prince Chijioke Ani (Ojenanwayo)
